Terms of Service

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms cover the Almanac website (almanacdata.ai) and its connector, which AI assistants use to read our data and, at your request, save your research. By using either, you agree to them. Our Privacy & Disclaimers page explains what we collect and store.

Who can use the Almanac

You must be 18 or older. Your account is yours alone. Personal access links work like a password: don't share or publish them.

Your research is yours

The research files and dossier your assistant saves to your account belong to you. You give us a limited license to store them, back them up, and show them back to you and the assistants you connect, only to run the service. We don't use them for anything else.

How you may use it

Accuracy

Our data comes from public sources and is provided "as is." Research files are written by your AI assistant; the Almanac checks their structure, labels, and sources, not their facts. Nothing here is investment, legal, tax, lending, or engineering advice, or an opinion of value.

Removal requests

If something we host includes information about you that you want removed, such as a home address covered by New Jersey's Daniel's Law, email brooks@strangeorbit.ai. We act on a valid request within 10 business days.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Almanac and delete your research at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made from the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Before a material change takes effect, we email account holders.
